The storm has come.. and I woke up
(sorry for my english :s)
Last night, we had a huge storm in Vancouver, something really unusual, indeed. We never hear thunder here. And last night was sounding like hell. Neither Pricilla, completely scared, nor i slept well.
I woke up this morning, with a strange feeling in my belly. Something i could also feel last (3-days-sunny) week-end, but i didn't take the time to really think about it. It was just here. In the air.
And this morning, it has appeared more clearly.
I have felt like it was time. Time to move. Time to change things.
I've been working so hard these days, that i've been slowly becoming like these Vancouverite i often describe. Working more and more, to earn more and more. But forgetting also the track of what i want to do with my life.
This morning, it seemed to me pretty obvious that i have enough of teaching french, even if it's really convenient (a lot of work, good money). I count the days left before end of school, and i think about what to do. And where.
I drove home, realizing that i have slowly enough of Vancouver as well. Nothing very suprinsing. How many people i've met, left or willing to leave ?
I've reached the point. I've been thinking a lot about September lately. I know that the summer will help me to do a break with the crazy work "rythm" i've been in the last months. And it will help me to find a better balance, between working to pay the rent, and do what makes me feel happy and "balanced".
But this morning, i just thought "Why not just leaving ?". Take my bag, my camera, my notebooks, and see a bit around. Instead of paying a $850 monthly rent, $140 monthly insurance car (yep !) and work and deal with people who drive me crazy sometimes, just backpack and hasta la vista.
I want a bit of a "Human" city.
And the fact that i should have my Permanent residency very soon helps a lot to think about travelling across Canada...
